The Arabic Language Contribution to The Istinbāṭ in Islamic Law of Acehnese Scholars

This article discusses the contribution of Arabic language to istinbāṭ in Islamic law Acehnese scholars. The purpose this journal is identify practice law. research qualitative using descriptive analysis method by describing and identifying influence on legal among results findings study indicate that primary sources for performing are Qur’an, hadīṡ, ijmā‘, qiyās, all which written language. Importantly, greatly contributes scholars, more a cleric understands language, easier it law, important scholars master its literature, such as balaghah, ma‘āni, badi‘, bayān, majāz, nahwu, sharf because understand inseparable correlated understanding between sciences an integral unit, so if scholar performs but does not sciences, fatwa he issued will be doubted.
